Asalamu Alaykum. Dear Parents and Guardians,
Al-Rasheed Academy is working with the Buffalo Schools Child Nutrition program to provide our students and their siblings under the age of 18 years with free healthy meals to help families during these difficult times.
The menu will follow the Halal and USDA guidelines. Also, due to COVID health concerns, safety is being taken to the next level. All food items will be wrapped in some form. Hot food trays will be wrapped with foil, and fruits will be wrapped in plastic. Extra sanitization steps have been implemented.
Because our school is providing remote learning to all our students, 7-day meal boxes will be offered once a week at our school building on 109 Ridge Road, Lackawanna NY 14218 for families to pick up for each of their children.
For us to have adequate supplies, these meals boxes must be pre-ordered. If you are interested, please select the link below and complete the short form and you will be notified when you can start picking up the free meals for your children.

Meal pick-up will be on Thursday between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM every week while school is open.
All food items should be refrigerated properly and reheated prior to service.
